An Update About COVID-19

Florida Springs Surgery Center is open and operating.

We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are doing everything we can to be consistent with the CDC and public health recommendations and provide you with the highest quality service you have come to expect from us.

Due to the spread of COVID-19 in Florida, Florida Springs Surgery Center is increasing our visitation restrictions and taking steps to reduce the number of community members at our facility. These changes are being made in an effort to limit potential COVID-19 exposure for our staff, patients, and visitors. Our primary concern is protecting the health and well-being of our employees, our patients, and the community we serve.

We are strongly encouraging each patient to bring only one visitor to the Center with them. We also request that upon arrival at our facility, that you wear a mask upon entering the Center. We are asking visitors who are sick not to enter the facility. This includes visitors with:

• Cold or flu-like symptoms
• Fever
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea

In order to ensure our patients and our team are safe, if you feel a visitor appears sick, please ask one of our staff members to address your concern. Any family member/visitor who appears sick but must be on-site for patient needs (i.e. driver for a patient) must wear a mask to limit exposure to others.

We’ll stay on top of the latest information and relay any service-related updates to you. In the meantime, we encourage you to monitor the CDC for the latest Coronavirus updates.
